MindChain is a Layer-1 where the mining is thinking. The work that secures the chain is verified inference on a planetary model no one owns; every block is a batch of thought with a proof stapled to it. Not a chain with an AI add-on — a nervous system that happens to settle.
Every chain in this category sells a vision. So do we — the difference is plumbing. Each phrase on this page resolves to a protocol object, a measurement with a date, or a preregistered kill rule one click deeper. The boldest claims we ever made are the ones we killed ourselves, in public, by rules we wrote down first.
The five axioms
One organism, five laws.
Work, security, and evidence are one dataflow. The model is the miner. The inference is the block. The proof is the exhaust.
Speed is a market. Consensus semantics fit on one page; every fast implementation is a jet admitted only with an equivalence certificate — slashed on divergence.
Not a file. The world model has no canonical weights — it is a proof-connected equivalence class. You cannot confiscate a quotient.
Not a feature. Every owner carries a sealed causal world, wired into consensus from genesis — never a library on the side.
Foresight is priced and falsifiable. Idle cycles compute sealed counterfactual futures — and the first dream market was killed by its own kill rule.
Five mechanisms, five numbers
Claims age. Receipts don't.
Four of these five are measurements with reproduction commands. The fifth is a theory that names its own kill condition. The label always tells you which is which.

Machines already pay each other — 75.41M transactions in one 30-day window, averaging $0.32 each MEASURED (x402 public telemetry, 2026-07-10) — and every rule keeping those agents honest today lives off-chain: an app, a facilitator, somebody's TEE. MindChain's answer is protocol-shaped: typed mandates instead of prompts, capabilities gated by evidence class instead of agent prudence, a bonded promise clock for machine-speed settlement — and the LLM lane's dispute calculus underneath, so the machine that pays is checked by the same mathematics as the machine that thinks.
